Q. If my child played in DevSquad in 2026 season, do they still need to register and trial for 2027?
A. Yes, all DevSquad players must register and trial for 2027 season.
Q. What do I do if my child/teen can't make the trial date for their age or becomes unwell the morning of their trial?
A. Please contact DevSquad Manager, Megan at devsquad@pennnofc.com.au and we will do our best to make alternative arrangements.
Q. What time should my child/teen arrive and where?
A. The trials will be held at Pennant Hills Park Synthetic Soccer Field. See Map for reference: https://maps.app.goo.gl/L35hCRUnHLw8HWVNA
Ideally, 20min prior to their session starting (latest). Allow enough time to park nearby, come to the registration desk, soccer boots & shin pads on and water bottle ready.
All Players trialing will receive a trial number at the registration desk where their name is marked off.
Note: players can't trial without this number.
Q. What should my child/teen wear and bring to the trial?
A. Comfortable lightweight t-shirt and shorts (any soccer kit is also fine).
Wear soccer boots, shin pads, and bring a water bottle, hat and sunscreen applied prior to the session.
Q. What happens after my child/teen's trial?
A. Coaches will provide their assessments to Penno FC Dev Squad Committee for 2027 Dev Squad Offers to compiled and sent out, we are aiming for the initial round of offers to be emailed out within 7 days of each trial session.
Note: Individual assessment of your child's performance will not be provided.
Q. How do I accept my child's Offer?
A. Details will be provided in the offer email regarding acceptance of your child's offer and full payment amount to secure their spot.
Offers will have a 2-week validity from the date they are sent, to be accepted and full payment completed.
Round 2 Offers (if any) will then be sent out for any additional spots available with the same timeframe for acceptance and payment.
Offers will be prioritised to fill each team with players in the age category first, and then players playing up (or down) in age.
Q. How much does DevSquad cost and what's included?
A. DevSquad Fees for 2027 will be finalised closer to the trial date. You can refer to 2026 Fee schedule on our club website under Fees section.
This includes:
NWSF Registration for Winter Season 2027 under Pennant Hills FC (including Insurance)
2x 1.5hr DevSquad Team Training Sessions with your team Kano and Parent Coach per week
NWSF Winter Competition Games (Saturday - Mixed, Sunday - Girls) from April-August

Opportunities to join Penno FC Premier League (PL) Team for Training Sessions and Mascot representation at PL Games
Q. When does DevSquad Training Start in 2027?
A. Dates will be provided to all DevSquad accepted players, ahead of the start of DevSquad training commencement in early February 2027.
Q. How long does the DevSquad Program last?
A. DevSquad training sessions cover a 24-week period, generally from February to August each year. This aligns with the NSWF Winter Competition Calendar for Games held from April - August each year.
